About a year ago, I bought this chair for $2 from a yard sale that my parents' Sunday School class puts on bi-annually. The gold fabric was a bit worn down, but the bones were good. I love the caning on the sides and the...whadacallems - pole things/legs?
Step 2. Paint white - this took a couple coats and I had to use a sponge on the caning.
Step 3. Recover fabric on the chair and then sew the pillows on the back and seat. I just used the old pillows as a template for the new.
Tada!
Project Costs:
Chair - $2
Storing it in my parents' garage for a year: priceless
Fabric 2.5 yards@ $20 a yard and 1/2 off = $25
Paint: Already had - freeish
Total: $27 dolla dolla billz yall.
